Texas (KXII) – The Metaphysical and Holistic Fair returned to Midway Mall’s center court on Texoma Parkway for its sixth year, offering visitors access to palm readings, tarot cards, crystals, jewelry, aura photography, reiki, and reflexology
Local artisans and holistic practitioners filled the space with products and services focused on natural healing and wellness
For local vendors, the fair serves as an opportunity to connect with customers who share their interests. ZenTalas owner Stacey Smith has participated since the event’s first year, selling handcrafted resin art, jewelry, and holistic products
“Education. Educating them in vibration and energy and sound healing and what we have to offer to help them in their journey with life. Just the education. And when the customers call me back and they give me their testimonies about their products that I’ve created, it’s just, it’s such a blessing,” Smith said
Intuitive hand analyst Peggy Sue Skipper described the value she finds in working with fair attendees
“Watching people light up when they really get their intuition, when they’re confirmed that, yes, oh my gosh, I’m actually around people who I can just be me with. And that’s important,” Skipper said
Skipper also spoke to the nature of intuitive ability
“But I use the analogy, like anybody can learn to play an instrument. If they get an instrument, they take lessons, they practice, practice, practice. Then you have these two-year-olds that play piano by ear. So there are people with that kind of gift in the intuitive arena,” she said
Organizers say the fair is held every few months. Additional information is available on their Facebook page
