Zimmermann, the label founded in 1991 in Sydney by sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann, has announced it has officially joined the French Fashion and Haute Couture Federation
It’s a major milestone for the Australian label, which has made a name for itself internationally with its distinctive aesthetic combining sophisticated femininity, bold colours and prints. “Every season, Paris continues to inspire us. In March, Zimmermann appointed Roberto Eggs as CEO, effective May 1, replacing Chris Olliver, who had held the position since 2005 and has now assumed the role of executive chairman. In 2023, in a deal brokered by Olliver, Advent International became Zimmermann’s majority shareholder, in an operation that valued the label at $1.15 billion
