Iconic Texas fast-food chain Whataburger will roll out a series of deals throughout August to celebrate its 76th anniversary
Here’s what you need to know to get a bang for your buck at Whataburger this month
Every Wednesday in August, the chain will offer a new “76-cent surprise,” a news release said, meaning customers can order something from the Whataburger menu for just 76 cents

The following are the 76-cent offerings and other deals to look for:
- Aug. 5: 76-cent Taquito with Cheese (entrée only), available from 6–11 a.m.
- Aug. 8, National Whataburger Day: Buy One, Get One Whataburger (entrée only), 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
- Aug. 12: 76-cent 16-ounce Whatafresher, available from 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
- Aug. 19: 76-cent Big Ranch Wrap (entrée only), available from 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
- Aug. 26: 76-cent Signature Chicken Sandwich (entrée only), available from 5–10 p.m.
The deals are exclusive to Whataburger Rewards members and can only be redeemed through Whataburger app, according to the release. Customers are limited to one redemption per account for each offer
Customers can create an account for free on the app. The deals will automatically appear in the app on their scheduled dates, the release said

“Whether you’ve been ordering the same Whataburger for years or you’ve been waiting for the perfect excuse to try something new, we’re celebrating the guests who’ve made the last 76 years so special,” Debbie Stroud, Whataburger president and CEO, said in a statement. “Consider these weekly surprises our way of saying thank-you.”
