A Rhode Island hospital was ranked among the best regional medical facilities this year
U.S. News & World Report recently released its 2026 Best Hospitals list, with 20 hospitals making the national Honor Roll and 505 ranking among the Best Regional Hospitals in their respective states
The publication analyzed each facility’s performance and awarded points based on measures such as risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications, and patient experience. The 20 U.S. hospitals that earned the most points made the U.S. News 2026-2027 Best Hospitals Honor Roll
Rhode Island, which has 15 hospitals, ranks fourth in the country for health care, based on factors including care access, quality, and public health, U.S. News says
