Jessica Loeschen is the owner of NoCo Nutrition, one of the newest businesses in Worthington
NoCo Nutrition is a shop that offers loaded teas, protein shakes and protein balls with a wide variety of flavors and customization options to suit needs and preferences
The business opened on June 25, but Loeschen has been a business owner for far longer
“I have been a business owner for 14 years,” she said
She has owned Shear Magic in Sibley, Iowa since 2012. Loeschen and her husband also purchased Bow Tie Auto Repair LLC in Ocheyedan, Iowa in 2013, and later moved the shop to Sibley in 2024
“With the purchase of the new building for the repair shop, we had plenty of space to use a small portion of the building for our third business, OsCo Nutrition, which opened in March of 2024,” Loeschen said. “Some days can be crazy, but we love what we do!”

Although NoCo Nutrition has only been open for a couple of weeks, the community has welcomed them with open arms
“We are excited to continue to meet our new customers and get involved in the Worthington community,” Loeschen said
Loeschen is no stranger to the area. She grew up in Worthington, moving to Sibley with her family at age 5
“I moved back to northwestern Iowa after college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and then attended Avalon-School of Cosmetology in Worthington. Since then I have worked as a cosmetologist full time,” she said
Not only does Loeschen work full-time and own multiple businesses, she is a mom as well
“Life can get crazy owning businesses and having a family, but when you love what you do, it falls into place,” she said. “Owning a business isn’t just the day-to-day operations. It also includes all the behind-the-scenes stuff like doing orders, scheduling and running after supplies.”
The drinks at NoCo Nutrition contain vitamins and minerals while also containing less than one gram of sugar in each drink
“Whether you’re looking for an energy boost, additional protein, hydration support or simply a tasty treat, we have something for you,” Loeschen said
NoCo Nutrition is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at 924 Third Ave., Worthington
“The support we have received with our tea shops has been beyond what we ever could have imagined, and we cannot wait to continue to grow and serve our customers and future customers,” Loeschen said
