How to win free food at Raising Cane’s Novi opening on Monday

Raising Cane’s chicken finger fast-food restaurant is expecting a crowd when they open their third Metro Detroit location on Monday.
The community-focused restaurant, which has decor touches specific to Novi, will open its doors at 10 a.m. Those in line earlier will have a chance to be one of 20 customers to win free Cane’s for a year. Entries will be collected between 8 and 9 a.m. Monday and winners will be drawn at 9 a.m. Must be present to win and be 13 or older.
The first 100 combo meals sold that day will come with a Cane’s trucker hat and a card for a free box combo.
The very first customer in line will also get a special gift.
As part of the opening day festivities, Raising Cane’s will donate $1,000 to the Novi Youth Association.
“We’re proud to join the Novi community and look forward to making a positive impact from day one,” said Jessica Baranski in a press release. She is Raising Cane’s area leader of restaurants.
PETA sent a press release Friday announcing that their members will be at the Monday opening to “hold a somber vigil outside with signs showing real images of the immense suffering chickens endure in the meat industry.”
Starting Monday, the new Novi restaurant at 26245 Novi Road will be open at 10 a.m. daily. It stays open until midnight Sun.-Thurs. and 1 a.m. Fri.-Sat. Raising Cane’s restaurants have opened in Canton Township, Ann Arbor and East Lansing
