Berry, who celebrates the milestone birthday on Friday, Aug. 14, kicked her festivities into high gear the day before, when she shared several photos of herself on Instagram wearing a mostly open lace robe. In the photo set, she lounged in a sunny patio backdrop, eating chocolate-covered strawberries and sipping a drink

Berry’s fiancéVan Hunt joined her in the shoot — in one photo, the two kissed while sitting on a couch together as she held a piece of fruit with one hand

“Today….don’t give a f–!” she wrote in the caption. The Academy Award winner also shared photos of herself wearing a floor-length black mesh dress on Wednesday, Aug. 12, where she wrote, “60 here I come….”
On Friday, Berry posted again for her actual birthday. This time, she shared a selfie of herself smiling wide while holding a card that reads, “Happy 60th.” “Thank you from my ❤️ for all the birthday love and well wishes. I’m grateful to still be here!!” she captioned the post
Berry and her musician fiancé Hunt, 56, have been in a relationship since 2020, when they got to know each other remotely while quarantining during the COVID-19 pandemic

Hunt and Berry have been going strong ever since. In June 2025, Hunt revealed that he proposed to Berry, but they expressed during an interview with Today that they were not in a rush to tie the knot at the time
“I think we will get married just because, out of the people I’ve been married to, this is the person I should have married,” Berry said in that interview. “And I feel like I should, we should get married, but it’s not because we feel like we have to. I think it’s something that we would like to do just because we want that expression.”
Berry announced that she and Hunt were officially engaged during a February appearance on The Tonight Show, during which she told host Jimmy Fallon that the public was mistaken regarding their engagement

“No, that’s not the case,” she said, when asked about the notion that she did not immediately say “yes.” “I did not say ‘no,’ we just don’t have a date. Of course, I said ‘yes,’ I would marry him.”

Berry most recently appeared on the big screen in the heist movie Crime 101. Following her birthday, she has multiple projects in the works, including a Paris-set film titled Fleur, which Variety reported on in March, and a thriller titled Red Card, which Deadline first reported in August 2025. Neither of those projects have release dates
