Business travel flight bookings from Canada to the US increased 12.7% from April to June compared with the same period in 2025, according to an analysis from Corporate Traveler, a TMC
Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver were the top three Canadian cities for business travel to the US during this time, according to the research, with New York, Chicago and Las Vegas ranking as the top three destinations. The rebound, said the report, suggests Canadian businesses are once again looking to the US to support business growth — from exploring alternative sourcing options and diversifying their market presence to strengthening relationships with customers and partners across the border.
John Van den Heuvel, president, Corporate Traveler USA, said, “After a period of uncertainty, it’s encouraging to see Canadian businesses once again prioritizing travel to the US, reflecting the importance of the business relationship between the two countries.” Companies, he said, “are finding ways to navigate a complex cross-border economic landscape and get back on the road to meet with customers, suppliers and prospective clients in person, using business travel to drive continued growth.”
