The Travel and Meeting Society (TAMS), a nonprofit industry association for the travel and meetings community, announced the addition of eight members to its board of directors. The new board members, said the announcement, bring diverse expertise spanning technology, consulting partnerships, meetings and events, and global travel management
Newly elected board members include:
- Ben Berard, partnerships and brand manager, DRVN
- Michael Brennan, managing partner, Kesselrun Consulting
- Bobbi Huber, global travel administrator, Cornerstone Information Systems
- Kathy Kaden, global travel manager, Okta
- Kathy Karlesses, head of sales, North America, Amadeus
- Colleen Kearney, senior director, head of travel and meetings, Fresenius Medical Care
- Will Pinnell, senior vice president, partner and alliances, HRS Group
- Kristin Thaler, manager, global travel and events, SuperHuman

In addition to the new board members, TAMS announced several leadership updates. Colleen Kearney will continue in her role as interim executive director, leading the organization while the search for a permanent executive director continues. Ted Cullen of BioRad will serve as vice chair.
The new board members will serve 18-month terms and, said the announcement, “play an active role in shaping the future direction of TAMS.” There are now a total of 15 board members. TAMS’ spring 2027 conference will be held in Nashville
Said Cullen, “With our exciting education initiatives, including TalentBridge and Learning Lab, TAMS has an incredible opportunity to grow our industry, support one another and continue proving that we truly are better together.”
