Some like Maeve Aird, Savannah Halleran, Alexis Ulrich, Cassidy Cha, Pippa Green, Summer McLean, Elizabeth Belanger, Claire Sommerfeld, and Tatiana Deblois are still making their choices

Others however, have made their decisions. After losing many of the top 2009-born commits following a coaching chance, the University of Minnesota is the first major program to lock in a group of elite commits
Minnesota made a serious splash grabbing Mia Sutch (Centennial/Spring Lake Park), Callie McCullough (Bishop Kearney), Ryann Chimera (OHA Edmonton), and Mackenna Schlieman (Breck School). All will be contenders for their U-18 national teams this year and next
UConn grabbed a pair of top end talents in Makenna Vinc (Stoney Creek Sabres) and Briar Deckers (Central York Panthers). Their Hockey East counterparts at Northeastern locked in one of the best 2010 defenders in Whitney Basso (Whitby Wolves) alongside Giuliana Polcari (East Coast Wizards) and Giuliana Polcari (Madison Capitals)
Staying in Hockey East, Boston College has committed Audrey Soja (Mississauga Hurricanes), Aleah LaFleur (Breck School), and Cheyenne Friesen (Lovell Academy), while Holy Cross will welcome Adrienne Shannahan (Rothesay Netherwood), and two Lovell Academy alums are headed to Merrimack in Montana Morris and Cassidy Dialey

Forward Adie Schneider was the first major 2010 commitment to an Atlantic Hockey America program committing to Penn State after the Maple Ridge, British Columbia dazzled at Delta Hockey Academy. Amber Nazir of the North York Storm, who committed to Robert Morris, is the only other major AHA commit todate
ECAC has made the most inroads into the 2010 cohort. Some of the headliner include Sophia Makokis of the Mississauga Hurricanes committed to Colgate, Princeton locking in Frances Ames, and Alessia Longo of the Nepean Wildcats heading to Quinnipiac. Princeton also committed to Marie Lee from Philips Academy, and Quinnipiac has added Haylee Lucuyer of the Mississauga Hurricanes and Ella Fridgen of the Ottawa Senators
Yale locked in a trio of 2010s in Brannagh Rae of Balmoral Hall, Maddy Humber from the East Coast Wizards, and Kailyn Stanway from the Toronto Leaside Wildcats.
