Craving Greek-style pizza, tropical Indian ice cream or sizzling bibimbap? You’re in luck, as it’s once again time for San Leandro Restaurant Week
This year’s scrumptious shindig takes place July 19-25 and will feature nearly two-dozen restaurants offering once-a-year prix-fixe menus, special discounts and promotions, unique dishes and more. Suitable to one of the most diverse cities in the nation, the potential dining options encompass Korean, Mexican, Caribbean, Southern, Italian and a scad of other cuisines
This time around, there’s also a “Restaurant Week Challenge” that invites diners to use the Goosechase app for checking in at participating eateries – with the chance to have their meals reimbursed by up to $1,000. For more information on the challenge, and the participating restaurants and specials, check the website of the San Leandro Chamber of Commerce (sanleandrochamber.com)
“Restaurant Week is an opportunity to taste what makes San Leandro’s dining scene special. You can enjoy limited-time specials and pricing for a special night out, visit your favorite local spot for summer treats and check out diverse cuisine that is authentic to the community,” Emily Greigo, CEO of the chamber of commerce, said in a statement. “Every meal purchased helps strengthen our local economy, supports local jobs and helps build the San Leandro community.”
