DFW Restaurant Week celebrates its 30th anniversary this year with an edition that will bring together more than 160 North Texas restaurants to offer prix-fixe menus to raise funds for the North Texas Food Bank and Lena Pope.
Although the event will kick off on Monday, Aug. 10, and continue through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7, reservations open this Thursday, July 16, on Reservation Day, when the participating restaurants will also be announced.
Diners can view the menus and search for their favorite restaurants by location, cuisine type or date through the DFW Restaurant Week official website. Reservations can also be made

Some of these restaurants will host a Preview Weekend and begin serving their specials from Thursday, Aug. 6, through Sunday, Aug. 9.
Participating restaurants are located in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton and Rockwall counties. These restaurants will donate approximately 20% of the proceeds from each meal sold.
Options include three-course dinners for $49 or $59, with donations of $10 and $12, respectively, going to the beneficiary organizations. There will also be a Signature Experience Dinner category for $99, which will donate $20 per meal, as well as two-course lunches and brunches for $29, of which $6 will be donated
Since its inception nearly three decades ago, DFW Restaurant Week has raised more than $13 million for its beneficiary organizations. In Dallas County, the funds support the North Texas Food Bank, while in Tarrant County they benefit Lena Pope, an organization that provides mental health and educational services for children and their families.
In addition to special menus, this year’s event will feature promotions such as a free fourth course at participating restaurants for those who sign up for the event’s mailing list, giveaways of dinners for four, special recipes developed by Market Street to raise funds, and discounts for Uber One users.
