Theatre Plaza Debuts with Live Jazz and Fashion Events
The Town of Danville, in partnership with Sixth Line Studios, will launch the first public events at Theatre Plaza in Downtown Danville this August. The inaugural events will bring live jazz, refreshments, and a runway fashion show to the outdoor plaza at 233 Front Street.
Theatre Plaza’s inaugural event, Jazz and Juice, will take place Friday, August 21, at 6:30 p.m. Guests can unwind in the summer evening air while enjoying a performance by a professional jazz quartet. Complimentary drinks and light snacks will be served during this relaxed gathering designed for friends, neighbors, and community connection. This event is open to guests ages 21 and older.
The following week, Theatre Plaza will host its first live fashion show with A Couture Closet Live Fashion Show on Friday, August 28, at 6:30 p.m. Models, actors, and community members will walk the outdoor runway in fashions from Downtown Danville consignment boutiques A Dress Change and Couture Closet. Guests can enjoy refreshments, music, and a lively emcee while watching the show and shopping the featured looks
