Nicholas Alexander Home and Garden will be closing its doors after 10 years.

A longtime staple for local home and garden enthusiasts is closing its doors after 10 years in business

Nicholas Alexander Home and Garden, located at 6325 Highway 97, announced it will permanently close at the end of September

“To everyone who has shopped with us, worked alongside us, and welcomed us into your homes and gardens, thank you,” owner Nicholas Moffat shared in a post to social media. “Your support has meant more to us than words can express.”

Management acknowledged that customers will have questions regarding the closure, asking for patience as staff take the time to respond to everyone

“This decision was not made lightly, as changing market conditions, rising costs, economic uncertainty, and an evolving retail landscape have made the path forward increasingly difficult,” Moffat said. “After carefully considering every option, we believe this is the right decision for both the business and our family.”

Before shutting down, the store is holding a clearance sale with a minimum of 30 per cent off storewide, alongside additional in-store specials

“Thank you for allowing us to be part of your homes and gardens for the past decade,” Moffat added. “Your support allowed us to build something truly special.”
