KALAMAZOO, Mich. —Hundreds gathered in Kalamazoo on Saturday, showing their support for those impacted by addiction and mental health challenges
The 7th annual Mothers of Hope Walk for Recovery brought people together reminding them recovery is possible

Organizers hope it helps break the stigma surrounding substance use disorder. They also want people to know they’re not alone
“Some people think that ‘if I get caught up on drugs or if I fall into addiction, if I fall off, then I’m just ostracized, I have nowhere to go and no one loves me’ and that’s not true. We love everybody. We extend our hand, our hearts, and our hugs to everybody,” said Stephanie Williams, program director at Mothers of Hope
