What began as an observation inside an urgent care clinic has grown into a wellness remmunity
Lisa Horton, operations manager for The DRIPBaR, said the idea for opening the wellness clinic came after providers noticed a common trend among patients: many were dehydrated, regardless of their age or background

That realization led to the opening of The DRIPBaR, where clients can receive IV hydration and vitamin therapy outside of a traditional medical setting
Since opening, Horton said the business has attracted a diverse customer base. College students stop in during busy semesters, athletes come looking to recover after training, construction workers seek hydration after long days in the Georgia heat, and professionals and retirees visit with their own wellness goals in mind

“There isn’t one typical client,” Horton said. “It’s people in different stages of life with different needs.”
Rather than offering the same treatment to everyone, the clinic provides a variety of IV formulations designed around different wellness goals, from hydration and recovery to relaxation. Horton said conversations with clients help determine which option best fits their lifestyle
Over time, she’s watched some customers make the treatments part of their regular wellness routines. Horton recalled longtime clients who say they have experienced improvements in their energy levels or their ability to stay active, though she notes those results came through consistency rather than a quick fix

As awareness of IV wellness therapy continues to grow, Horton hopes the conversation extends beyond individual treatments
“Our long-term impact,” she said, “is bringing awareness to health and empowering the community to embrace their health and take responsibility for it.”
