Unroll a blanket and steady your lawn chairs — Hillsboro is hosting summer movie nights in various parks across the city
Hillsboro’s free outdoor Friday night movie series “Pix in the Park” returns this year with four movies, beginning with “Zootopia 2” on Aug. 7, at Hillsboro Stadium, 4450 N.E. Century Blvd
Activities each Friday start at 7:30 p.m., and the movie will begin between 8:15 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., as the sky goes dark
A rotating lineup of food trucks will be available to feed moviegoers, though organizers say personal food and nonalcoholic drinks are welcome
The lineup of films for the year was chosen from resident votes:
• “Inside Out 2” on Aug. 14, at Bagley Park, 201 N.E. Jackson St
• “How to Train Your Dragon (2025)” on Aug. 21, Hidden Creek Park West, 225 N.E. 53rd Ave
•“E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” on Aug. 28, 6200 N.E. Brighton Drive
