Halle Berry celebrated her milestone 60th birthday on Aug. 14 in true style — swimwear style, to be exact. The history-making Oscar-winning actresstraveled to Cabo with longtime partner Van Hunt to commemorate the landmark occasion, and shared a highlight reel of moments to her Instagram account

Staying at Mexico’s first Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Zadún, Berry embraced her next decade with one-piece looks, two-piece styles and even some lingerie-inspired looks. An intimate look at her resortwear and vacation mode style was offered with the highlight reel from her trip

But the photos also struck a chord as a defiant spin on assumptions and expectations for women at 60. Sultry styling is an approach Berry has long taken when it comes to her red carpet style, and the actress has made health and wellness for mature women a cornerstone of her career in this second act of life
