Grant program fosters teaching innovation: Apply by Sept. 30

Technology-enhanced Learning and Online Strategies (TLOS) invites proposals for Technology-Enhanced Learning Grants to support the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative approaches to teaching and learning using technology. These small seed grants are awarded to individuals or teams working on pedagogical and curricular projects that push the boundaries of technology-enhanced learning and have the potential for broad institutional impact. Grant awards are typically capped at $5,000.Â
This year, proposals that include innovative teaching work connected to one or more of the following theme areas will receive priority consideration. Proposals that incorporate artificial intelligence (AI), especially generative AI, in relevant, inventive ways are encouraged
Personalized & Adaptive: Learning experiences that meet students where they are, adjusting pace, path, or content to each learner, with dynamic, personalized remediation when they need it
Assessment & Feedback: Better evidence of learning, faster and richer feedback, authentic assessments, alternatives to timed exams, and feedback loops that reach students while it still matters
Immersive & Simulation: XR, virtual labs, role-play, and simulated environments for practice at scale and deeper contextual understanding
Learn more and submit a proposal. Review of proposals will take place on a rolling basis through the deadline for submissions, Sept. 30. Awards will be announced in mid-October
