Renee Paradise is returning to eBay as global general manager of fashion, effective Aug. 25
This appointment comes at a time when the company continues to build momentum and sharpen its competitive focus in fashion, a category that generates more than $10 billion in annual gross merchandise value for
Paradise had previously been with eBay from 2014 to 2019 in various capacities, including senior director, general manager, fashion. She left to join Bloomingdale’s as senior vice president, customer and revenue growth and later Neiman Marcus Group, where she was chief digital officer. She has also been the interim chief digital officer of Veronica Beard, and for the past year has been a senior adviser at McKinsey & Co., where she spent 10 years early in her career, and served as associate principal.
Paradise will lead eBay’s global fashion business across luxury and non-luxury, with an expanded mandate that includes helping shape how eBay’s fashion value propositions come together in marketing and strengthening collaboration with Depop

Paradise reports to Chris Prill, vice president of focus categories at eBay, and will be based at eBay’s New York office
On Aug. 5, eBay reported that for the second quarter, revenue was $3.1 billion, up 15 percent on an as-reported basis and up 14 percent on a foreign exchange neutral basis. For the quarter, the company had non-GAAP net income from continuing operations of $727 million, versus $640 million in the year-ago quarter
