DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) —Darlington County officials are investigating a cybersecurity incident affecting some county computer systems and limiting certain services
Darlington County Administrator Marion “Charles” Stewart III said some systems have been proactively taken offline as officials work to address the incident. As a result, some county services are available in a limited capacity
Emergency services remain fully operational, Stewart said. The incident has not affected the county’s 911 communications center or its ability to receive calls and dispatch emergency responders
