‘A Place In Hell’ – Theaters – April 23, 2027
Edgar-Jones will star as a young lawyer opposite Michelle Williams’ successful criminal defense attorney in A Place in Hell, directed by Chloe Domont (Fair Play). ‘Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow’ – Theaters – November 12, 2027
Gabrielle Zevin’s Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow is getting a big-screen feature film adaptation starring Edgar-Jones as main heroine Sadie Green. Sky Yang and Sean Kaufman (The Summer I Turned Pretty) will star alongside her. Yang has been cast as Sadie’s videogame co-collaborator, creator, college connection and childhood friend Sam, and Kaufman will play Marx Watanabe, Sam’s roommate and friend. Siân Heder, an Oscar-winning writer on CODA, is directing and writing the screenplay based on drafts by Mark Bomback and Zevin.
‘Mosquito’ – Hulu – TBD
The actress will star alongside Nicholas Hoult (Superman, The Great) in Mosquito, a Hulu original series from Oscar-nominated writer Tony McNamara (Poor Things). Mosquito received a six-episode straight-to-series order
‘Here Comes the Flood’ – Netflix – TBD
Edgar-Jones also has Netflix heist film Here Comes The Flood in the works at Netflix. She’ll star alongside Denzel Washington and Robert Pattinson in the flick about a bank guard, a teller, and a master thief in a deadly game of cons and double crosses. The Two Popesfilmmaker Fernando Meirelles will direct from a script by Simon Kinberg (Mr. & Mrs. Smith)
‘A Good Person’ – TBD
Deadline broke the news that the actress is attached to produce the Working Title Films-optioned adaptation of Kirsten King’s debut novel, A Good Person. The partnership is a reunion of sorts for Edgar-Jones and Working Title’s co-chair Eric Fellner
