Watch:Becca Tobin and Zach Martin Welcome Baby After Surrogate Gives Birth 6 Weeks Early
Becca Tobin became a second-time mom ahead of schedule.
The Glee alum shared that she has welcomed her second child with husband Zach Martin—a baby girl named Meyer June Martin after Tobin’s great-grandfather and grandmother, respectively. While their little one is doing “good,” Meyer is staying in the NICU after arriving more than five weeks premature.
“My daughter decided to make an early entrance into the world,” Tobin announced on a July 23 episode of her podcast, The LadyGang. “She’s here.”
Tobin and Martin decided to move forward with inducing their surrogate Katie early, as Katie was experiencing preeclampsia, which Tobin noted could be a “pretty dangerous thing, definitely for Katie, and then sometimes for the baby.”
“The doctor was like, ‘You know what? At this point, the baby is cooked pretty nicely,'” the podcaster explained of how they made the decision to deliver their early arrival at 5 pounds, 9 ounces, adding, “She was supposed to be born August 26, and she was born July 19.”

And while the change of plans was unexpected, Tobin called the birth experience “the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen.” The epidural-free labor was especially memorable after welcoming her and Martin’s first child—Rutherford “Ford” Thomas Martin, now 4—eled was “obviously beautiful, too.”

“The doctor or midwife looks at me, and she goes, ‘Do you want to deliver your baby?’ And I was like, ‘Um, yes?'” the 40-year-old recounted. “I put on her gloves. I stand at the bottom, and she’s like, ‘There’s her head.'”

Indeed, Tobin became a mom of two very suddenly. As she put it, “This baby comes sliding out, and me and the midwife are like holding the baby.”
Though Tobin and Martin’s latest addition will remain in hospital care for the next two to six weeks—and was born with her umbilical cord “wrapped around twice”—Tobin was grateful to remark, “She looks great.”

“These last couple of weeks have been chaos, but in the best possible way,” Mariano wrote in an Instagram post. “Welcome back home Rock-Anthony Makoa Ventimiglia. Can’t wait for all of the adventures ahead with our family of 5!”

“The process of us having a child took four or five years,” Hoying told People in an interview published June 23. “It’s been a long time coming and just looking at her, I started crying because it was just such a beautiful thing that I feel really, really lucky.”

“They just had a baby girl,” he said in an April 18 interview. “They just had her two weeks ago, or a week ago.”
Along with sharing their son’s name, the couple—who tied the knot in June 2025—posted a black and white photo of their hands intertwined with their newborn’s.
As Scheffler told the Golf Channel during the Masters tournament in April, “We had another boy a couple of weeks ago, and, yeah, it’s been really nice and fun.”
“Our baby girl has arrived!!” the couple wrote on Steinfeld’s Beau Society Substack. “We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
Richie announced the exciting news with a March 25 Instagram post featuring an adorable snap of their newborn with their daughter Eloise.
“Our sweet Andie girl is here,” Ostapchuk captioned the couple’s March 17 joint Instagram post announcing their little one’s birth. “Born on Saturday afternoon, just hours before the biggest blizzard of the season—just as it was almost 40 years ago on Peter’s birthday.”
“The best surprise of our lives,” he and Marroquin—already parents to kids Eli and Maizee—wrote on Instagram March 11, “& the sweetest grand finale.”
