Arkansas Tech University Faculty Senate has named its officers for the 2026-27 academic year
Dr. Carl Brucker, professor of English, is chair. Dr. Lucas Moody, assistant professor of cybersecurity, is chair elect. Dr. Jeff Aulgur, professor of organizational studies, is secretary
Dr. Michael Rogers, who served as ATU Faculty Senate chair in 2025-26, handed the gavel to Brucker at a luncheon that coincided with the beginning of the 2026-27 academic year

ATU Faculty Senate will conduct its 2026-27 meetings on Tuesday, Sept. 8, Tuesday, Oct. 13, Tuesday, Nov. 10, Monday, Dec. 7, Tuesday, Feb. 9, Tuesday, March 9, Tuesday, April 13 and Thursday, April 29
All of the meetings above are scheduled to take place in Rothwell Hall room 312. With two exceptions, they will begin at 3 p.m. The two exceptions are the meetings on Dec. 7 and April 29, which will start at 1 p.m
