The Aug. 24 integration will introduce a new logo and tagline while expanding OutKick’s portfolio with college sports, outdoors, pro wrestling, and original animated content
FOX News Digital is moving to more tightly integrate sports into its broader digital operation, with OutKick set to officially become the division’s sports brand beginning Monday, Aug. 24
The move, first announced in June, will coincide with a refresh of the OutKick brand, including a new logo and the tagline “Where Sports and Culture Collide.” The integration places the Fox Corporation-owned platform more directly inside the FOX News Digital ecosystem as the company looks to expand its sports coverage and connect it more closely with cultural and news-driven conversations
“This is a pivotal moment for OutKick as the integration with FOX News Digital will expand its reach and influence throughout sports media,” says Tommy Firth, Editorial Executive Vice President of FOX News Digital
OutKick, which was originally founded by Clay Travis, has built its editorial identity around the intersection of sports, sports culture, pop culture, and news. Its lineup of reporters, hosts, and contributors is distributed across FoxNews.com/OutKick as well as livestreaming video, social media, podcasts, and radio
The integration comes as OutKick continues to grow its digital audience. According to Comscore, the platform generated 10.9 million desktop and mobile unique visitors in July 2026, an increase of 94% year over year. OutKick also registered 55 million total multiplatform views, up 138%, and 66 million total multiplatform minutes, a 201% increase from the same period last year
Alongside the brand refresh, OutKick is also preparing an expansion of its content portfolio this fall
Among the new offerings is OutKick University, an initiative designed to embed the brand on college campuses throughout the college football season. OutKick OutDoors will extend coverage into hunting, camping, fishing, and other outdoor interests, while OutKick Dropkick will serve as a dedicated hub for professional wrestling news and information
Later this year, the platform will also move into original animation with the launch of Sports Talk with Cal McCallister, which will be distributed on OutKick’s site and YouTube channel
