Houston is losing one of its favorite late-night hangouts. After three years, Neighbors Pizza Restaurant & Bar announced on Sunday that it will close its 3401 Harrisburg Blvd. space at the end of August
‘Your Neighbors are moving out’
“It’s been real in this little corner of the East End but we’re moving out August 31st,” Neighbors wrote on Instagram

“Every place has a story and ours was written by the people who walked through these doors. To each person who has been part of our team along the way, our regulars, community and everyone who has spent a piece of their life here with us…you made Neighbors what it is and we are so grateful for that, thank you.”
Hundreds responded, with many asking for more details about Neighbors leaving and whether it will find a new home

“Please tell me this is a move and not a closure,” one person wrote, “I don’t understand. Business seems like it was doing well! I hope this means a relocation soon! This has become a Houston gem.”

Even other East End businesses expressed their sadness, like Wanderstay Boutique Hotel that commented: “We’ll really miss you guys being our literal neighbor.”
It’s unclear whether Neighbors, which has been serving New York-style pizzas, pasta, salads and cocktails since 2023, will reopen at another location. Chron has reached out for more details and will update this story if the restaurant responds
