Darts is joining many of world biggest sporting events in trying to ensure real fans get to attend in person and at the face value of the ticket. For the first time in the event’s history, tickets for the Paddy Power World Darts Championship will be allocated through a ballot

The 2026/27 Paddy Power World Darts Championship returns to Alexandra Palace from December 11, 2026 to January 3, 2027, with Sport’s Biggest Party moving into the venue’s Great Hall for the first time and the expansion increasing capacity to a record 180,000 tickets

The ballot will take place in two stages, with PDCTV Annual Members receiving an exclusive priority window, giving them an increased opportunity to secure tickets ahead of the General Ballot opening

PDCTV Annual Members Ballot
The PDCTV Annual Members Ballot opens at 12:00 BST on Tuesday September 1 and closes at 23:59 BST on Monday September 7
To be eligible, fans must have an active PDCTV Annual subscription before 23:59 BST on Sunday August 30. Subscriptions purchased after this deadline will only be eligible for the General Ballot
As well as receiving an increased opportunity to secure tickets for the Paddy Power World Darts Championship, a PDCTV Annual membership includes live and on-demand coverage of the sport’s biggest events, exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes content throughout the year.*

One ballot application is permitted per member
General Ballot
The General Ballot opens at 12:00 BST on Tuesday September 8 and closes at 23:59 BST on Monday September 14, and is open to all fans
Entering either ballot does not guarantee tickets. Once the ballot has closed, all applicants will be notified by email during September to confirm the outcome of their application, regardless of whether they have been successful or unsuccessful
With demand expected to exceed the available capacity, there is no guarantee that any tickets will remain available following the completion of the ballot process
