The Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies meet Thursday in the third major league game to be played at the site made famous by the 1989 movie “Field of Dreams”.

The complex in Dyersville, Iowa, has expanded since the last MLB game there in 2022, with youth fields now surrounding the main stadium to be used for this week’s events, which also included minor league and high school games.
The magic of nostalgia remains the main draw, though. The first two editions of the game brought us Kevin Costner leading players out of the cornfield and Ken Griffey Jr. and Sr. having a catch.
