Supermodel Paulina Porizkova is officially married again
The former Sports Illustrated cover star and “America’s Next Top Model” judge married TV writer Jeff Greenstein in an intimate ceremony in Italy on July 3rd
The couple, who have been dating for three years, said “I do” at a town hall overlooking Lake Orta in Northern Italy in front of 78 guests Their reception was held at the nearby hotel, Villa Crespi
And to think, they may have never crossed paths if they hadn’t swiped on one another on a dating app
Porizkova, 60, and Greenstein, 63, met on Raya, an invite-only, membership-based dating app frequently used by celebrities, creatives, and high-profile professionals. “I’d been on the dating app Raya for like five years and got maybe five hits. Older women like me are invisible on sites like that,” she told the outlet
Fortunately, Greenstein had his age range set to 52 to 60, which put Porizkova on his radar. The only issue was that they weren’t local to one another. “I was based in L.A. and she was in New York, and neither of us were looking for long distance, so I thought at best I’ve made a great new friend,” Greenstein told the outlet
They stayed connected through FaceTime, even drinking tequila together virtually. Finally, Porizkova texted him point blank that he was her “ideal man” and asked him when he was coming to NYC. Once the two met during the summer of 2023, they became inseparable
Their Italy wedding earlier this month also gave their families and friends a first chance to meet. “It’s a destination wedding where our family and friends can have a little vacation —and they are all forced to meet,” Porizkova explained
The newlyweds indeed had some family blending to do as Porizkova has two sons, Jonathan, 32, and Oliver, 28, with the late musician, Ric Ocasek, with whom she was married from 1989 until his death in 2019. Greenstein has a son from a previous relationship
