‘Marc by Sofia’
Filmmaker Sofia Coppola delves into the life and legacy of acclaimed American designer Marc Jacobs in the documentary “Marc by Sofia,” now streaming on HBO Max. While Globe film critic Odie Henderson gave the movie just 1½ stars in his review, he wrote, “if you’re familiar with the designer and his history, you’ll find this movie entertaining.” Available on HBO Max
‘They Fight’
Step into the ring with “They Fight,” a new boxing drama now streaming on Hulu. Based on the documentary of the same name, the flick follows ex-con Walt Manigan (André Holland) as he coaches Washington, D.C., teens in the art of the sweet science. Also stars Wendell Pierce (“The Wire”) and Samira Wiley (“The Handmaid’s Tale”). Available on Hulu

‘Hot Ones: Extra Heat’
If you’ve already binge-watched all of “The Hawk” and are still looking for more laughs courtesy of Will Ferrell, the actor and his golf comedy costars Fortune Feimster and Jimmy Tatro appear in the first installment of “Hot Ones: Extra Heat,” streaming on Netflix. A spinoff of the viral “Hot Ones” series, the trio joins host Sean Evans in the special to chow down on spicy wings while answering questions. Available on Netflix

‘Quarterback’
The start of a new NFL season is still distant, but get hyped up for the return of gridiron action with season 3 of “Quarterback,” which debuted earlier this week on Netflix. This time around, the docuseries follows quarterbacks Jayden Daniels, Baker Mayfield, Cam Ward, and Joe Flacco during the 2025 season. Available on Netflix

‘Obsession’
Possibly the biggest box office surprise of the year, “Obsession,” which earned hundreds of millions of dollars on less than a $1 million budget, is now ready to conquer streaming with its arrival on Peacock. Director-writer Curry Barker’s horror hit stars Michael Johnston (“Teen Wolf”) as Bear, a guy who makes a wish for his crush Nikki — played by breakout star Inde Navarrette (“Superman & Lois”) — to fall in love with him. However, things take a supernatural and deadly turn. Available on Peacock
