The Miami Dolphins spent the first eight practice sessions of their first training camp under new head coach Jeff Hafley working on the practice fields at their Baptist Health Training Complex, but on Saturday, they moved inside Hard Rock Stadium
Miami allowed fans in for free and had members of the media in the press box for the session, allowing everyone to see what the team has been working on for the last two weeks

Here’s what happened at Saturday’s session, according to reporters who were on the scene:
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel’s David Furones noted that cornerback JuJu Brents was not seen early in the session
Dolphins team reporter Travis Wingfield commendedcornerback Jason Marshall Jr. for an immaculate play on special teams, saving a punt from the end zone
Kickers Riley Patterson and Zane Gonzalezboth hit all of their competitive kicks in the special teams period
The Miami Herald’s Omar Kelly mentioned that defensive lineman Matthew Butler put offensive lineman James Ester on the ground in a one-on-one drill
In one-on-ones, Wingfield noted guard Jonah Savaiinaea went undefeated. He also noted that cornerbacks Chris Johnson and Marco Wilson broke up passes
Defensive lineman Jordan Phillips made multiple strong plays against the run early in 11-on-11s. His linemate Zeek Biggers also had a tackle for a loss
Third-string quarterback Cam Miller hit wide receiver Tahj Washington, who beat out defensive back Miles Battle, for a big play
Quarterback Malik Willis continued to find success when rolling out, as he hit rookie tight end Seydou Traore for a 25-yard gain along the sideline
Kelly noted that rookie linebacker Jacob Rodriguez got the start in team drills
Second-year quarterback Quinn Ewerscompleted a deep ball to wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr., who beat cornerback Alex Austin
Miami’s offense struggled to score touchdowns early in red-zone work, going through multiple series before Ewers found wide receiver AJ Henning for six
Defensive back Tanner Wall, who just signed with the team on Friday, broke up a pass
Cornerback Ethan Robinson intercepted Miller, who was under pressure from defensive end Rodney McGraw
Jason Marshall Jr. broke up a pass that Willis intended for third-round pick Caleb Douglas
On fourth-and-5 from the 45-yard line, linebacker Chop Robinsonbeat right tackle Austin Jackson and sacked Willis
Patterson madea 45-yard field goal
Ewers hit Tahj Washington for a 30-yard gain before Patterson nailed a 51-yard kick
Miller hit wide receiver Donovan McCulley on a deep ball for a 40-yard gain. The wideout took a shot but held on, eventually setting up Patterson for a 40-yard field goal make
Miami will have Sunday off before getting back to work on Monday
