Myles Price has been tapping Los Angeles’ long history of knitwear and garment production to build his namesake label
The designer, originally from New York, launched the brand in 2019 and has since expanded its wholesale presence through a mix of independent boutiques and luxury hotel shops, including Curve in L.A., Sita 1910 at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, The Vault by Sita 1910 at The Beverly Hills Hotel, Kuhl-Linscomb in Houston and Zitomer in New York, as well as through trunk shows with Goop
“Everything starts with fabric. It’s our foundation,” said Price, whose minimalist designs favor clean lines and flattering silhouettes. He develops custom knits using premium fibers, including Supima cotton and micromodal from Lenzing. “They’re materials that are softer, more durable, and they’re really built to last.”

Dresses have emerged as a key growth category, with sales increasing 7.5 times over the past year, within an assortment that includes T-shirts, tanks, skirts, joggers and hoodies. Prices are from $86 for T-shirts, $194 for sweatshirts, $138 for drawstring pants and $150 for a ribbed minidress. Repeat buyers account for 36 percent of the brand’s customer base, which Price said is generally over age 35 and values quality over trends
“One of the things about using premium material is that, as you wear it, it begins to break in more and more to you,” Price said
In September, Price will introduce a five-piece capsule of high-neck silhouettes designed to work together as an autumn wardrobe. The collection includes the Arum Lily raglan in Minilux, the Vesper turtleneck dress in LuxRib and the Angel dress in Supima Rib

Price works with local partners across fabric development, knitting, dyeing, cutting and sewing in L.A
“I don’t think there’s any other city in the world that has the refinement of knitting that does,” he said
As the business grows, Price said his focus remains on the product
“It’s about making exceptional pieces and connecting with a customer and really building something of value,” he said
