SAINT PAUL, MN (August 14, 2026) Families across Saint Paul’s East Side are invited to a free community health and back-to-school event Saturday featuring health screenings, wellness reentatives from more than 25 community organizations and health care providers
Pathways to Wellness, presented by CHW Concepts LLC, will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, August 15, at Arlington Hills Community Center, 1200 Payne Avenue in Saint Paul

Scheduled services and information include:
- Health screenings and preventive-care resources
- General wellness education
- Maternal and child-health support
- Connections to health care providers
- Community-based family resources
- Information from more than 25 participating organizations and local partners
Specific screenings, service eligibility and provider availability may vary during the event. Families seeking a particular medical service should contact the organizer before attending
Back-to-school assistance
Backpacks and school supplies will be distributed to eligible school-aged children while quantities last
A community back-to-school re backpacks and supplies. Children must be present to receive the items, and distribution is limited to a maximum of four backpacks per family
Because supplies are limited, families are encouraged to register in advance and arrive early. Event registration should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every requested item will remain available throughout the day
Family activities
The community celebration is also scheduled to include:
- Youth activities
- Carnival games
- Entertainment
- Face painting
- Raffles
- Prizes
- Family-oriented wellness education
The activities are intended to make health information more approachable while giving parents, children, providers and neighborhood organizations an opportunity to connect
