Lake Erie Aesthetics & Wellness has moved into a larger space at The Landings in Avon Lake as the business continues to expand its services in the community
The business, located at 32730 Walker Road, Suite F3-4, recently moved from its previous Avon Lake location to accommodate more services and provide clients with a wider range of medical, aesthetic and wellness options
Co-owned by Dr. Janice Rice and Amber Keller, Lake Erie Aesthetics & Wellness first opened in Sandusky in 2022 before expanding to Avon Lake in 2023
Rice, a board-certified emergency medicine physician who also practices aesthetic medicine, said the decision to open in Avon Lake was partly driven by the lack of an all-encompassing medical spa in the area
“We decided we wanted to bring our services and knowledge and everything to Avon Lake because Avon Lake did not house an all-encompassing type of med spa,” Rice said
The new location allows the business to bring more of the services already offered at its Sandusky location to Avon Lake. The expanded space includes reformer and mat Pilates, infrared sauna services and other wellness offerings
Lake Erie Aesthetics & Wellness also provides Botox and fillers, weight loss management, hormone management, facials and medical-grade skin care
Rice said the move was also prompted by requests from existing Avon Lake clients who wanted access to services that previously were only available at the Sandusky location
“We just really wanted to be able to offer all of our services to both locations to serve the community,” Rice said
The new location also gives the business a more central presence in Avon Lake. Rice said being at The Landings provides greater exposure while keeping the business close to its local clientele
“We’re just really excited to be in the center of town and have our clients in Avon Lake not have to drive to Westlake or River,” Rice said. “We offer everything right here now in Avon Lake.”
In addition to its services, Lake Erie Aesthetics & Wellness participates in community events, educational opportunities and collaborations with other local businesses
The Avon Lake location is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. It is closed Thursdays and weekends
