GenoPalate, a personalized nutrition company helping people turn biological data into practical nutrition guidance, today announced the expansion of its science platform to include blood biomarker analysis. GenoPalate members can now upload recent blood test results to help identify nutrient gaps, refine nutrition recommendations, and better understand what their bodies may need right now
The update marks a critical milestone in GenoPalate’s evolution beyond nutrigenomics and toward a more comprehensive, multiomic approach to personalized self-care. By combining DNA insights with blood nutrient status, food habits, lifestyle information, and health objectives, GenoPalate can provide recommendations that reflect both a person’s long-term genetic needs and their current biology
“Genetics gives us a powerful foundation, but our biology is not static,” said Dr. Asif Naseem, Chairman and CEO of GenoPalate. “Nutrient needs can shift based on diet, lifestyle, supplement routines, absorption, stress, activity, and other factors. By adding blood biomarker analysis, we are building a more complete and dynamic model of personalized nutrition around both a person’s evolving biology and what their body needs today.”
The expansion builds on GenoPalate’s recently published research examining how genetics-based personalized nutrition can support meaningful behavior change. In a retrospective cohort study published in BMC Nutrition, GenoPalate researchers evaluated follow-up survey responses from participants who had received genetics-based nutrition recommendations
The study found that participants who reported making behavior changes after receiving their personalized nutrition report were substantially more likely to report health improvement than those who did not make changes. The findings reinforce a central principle behind GenoPalate’s platform: biological insight is most valuable when it can be translated into practical, sustainable action
“Our research showed that personalized nutrition becomes meaningful when people can use insight to make consistent changes in everyday life,” said Dr. Hector Guillen, Chief Scientific Officer at GenoPalate and lead author of the study. “DNA provides an important foundation for understanding a person’s long-term nutritional predispositions. Adding food habits and current blood biomarker data gives us a more complete picture of what may be happening in the body today, with the potential to make recommendations even more precise, relevant, and useful over time.”
Through the new blood analysis feature, members can upload recent bloodwork directly into the GenoPalate platform. GenoPalate’s system reviews the nutrients included in the results and analyzes them alongside the member’s DNA-based nutrition insights, food habits, and wellness objectives
Depending on the information in the uploaded results, GenoPalate may review nutrients such as chromium, iron, magnesium, omega-3, omega-6, selenium, vitamins A, B1, B6, B9, B12, C, D, E, and K, and zinc. The more complete a member’s bloodwork, the more personalized GenoPalate’s nutrition recommendations can become
Members without recent bloodwork can access recommended testing options through GenoPalate’s partnership with Quest Diagnostics
One of the most significant updates is the advancement of GenoVit, GenoPalate’s personalized multivitamin. GenoVit formulations begin with a personalized baseline built from a member’s DNA, age, and gender. With the recent release of GenoPalate’s Food Frequency Questionnaire and the addition of blood biomarker analysis, those formulations can now become more dynamic over time
Rather than remaining fixed, future GenoVit formulations can be refined as members provide additional information about their food habits and a blood panel showing current nutrient status. This allows GenoPalate to adjust recommendations and formulations based on a more complete view of an individual’s evolving biology and needs
Blood analysis may help inform food recommendations, personalized supplement recommendations, GenoVit formula adjustments, nutrition priorities, and conversations with GenoPalate dietitians and nutrition coaches. The goal is not simply to provide more data, but to help members understand what their bodies may be missing and identify realistic next steps
