For the second year in a row, Furman University’s hometown of Greenville, South Carolina, makes Travel+Leisure’s list of World’s Best Cities in 2026. Drawing on a growing list of accolades and votes from more than 200,000 readers, Travel and Leisure picks Greenville for the No. 10 spot, down from last year’s place at No. 8. Travel and Leisure highlights five can’t miss things to do in the city including lodging at the Grand Bohemian, dining at Soby’s, strolling Falls Park on the Reedy River, tasting craft beer at Southernside Brewing Co., or taking a ride or walk along the 28-mile Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail that connects downtown with neighborhoods, parks and nearby Travelers Rest.
