But when we’re watching how many goals he scores this year, also, also watching the decline of his game, ’cause he’s, he’s superhuman
He’s not like the rest of us, obviously
But at some point, Father Time always wins
And, and, and so at what rate, right?
Because you, you think, I talked about it last year going into the end of the year, if he does play another year is what You know, if it does, if it does start to decline, and you hope it doesn’t

But if it starts to decline, like how, how is that as a coach and a team, how do you navigate that?
Like, is Ovi good with that, talking to him, “Hey, you know, you’re still obviously posted up on the power play,” but maybe sl- like, the minutes start to go down and the situational play, is he okay with that?
‘Cause if he’s not, that’s a weird situation for, for Carver and, and like, it’s, it’s tough
It’s So the conversations need to be had there
So if he, if he gets any amount of goals in the 30s and his, you know, his speed and his game look, still look pretty good, I think he comes back for sure

And, you know, if he gets there and the decline is very noticeable and you’re kind of unable to, to play him in, in situations, you know, he’s not the guy that you necessarily put out when you need one because he’s slowing down
I’m not saying that’s the case, but if that starts to become the case, then, you know, the question is, is whether or not he comes back for it
‘Cause 71 goals in two years is, is still a lot

You know, he’s 71 away, so I would say he has to get 35 or more for him- Yeah to look at it going, “All right, you know, it’s within reach

I’m one year away from it.”
but if he gets under 30, th- then he’s gotta look at like, “All right, I gotta come back for two, maybe three more years just to get there.”
So yeah, I, I, I think you kinda nailed it
It’s kind of like 71 goals, how do you s- how do you plan that out over two seasons?
Like, obviously 40 goals this year would make the following year a lot more, a lot easier
But yeah, to get less than 30 goals and expect him to come back and then, you know, make up the difference, I don’t think that’s possible
