ESPN has begin a new round of layoffs of notable on-air personalities, including a high-profile NFL veteran and a longtime MLB broadcaster
Layoffs are always the worst part of the industry, and ESPN occasionally parts ways with recognizable talent in cost-cutting and organizational restructuring decisions. You just hate seeing anybody lose their job, especially this publicly since these people are all outward-facing journalists and broadcast talents
