SNAP/EBT payments are now accepted at all SNAP-eligible Dollar Tree stores available on DoorDash, the last-mile delivery company announced Tuesday
With this new offering, SNAP recipients can use their benefits to shop over 1,000 SNAP-eligible items on DoorDash. Customers who upload their SNAP card to DoorDash can shop for eligible grocery items like pantry staples, frozen foods and more from Dollar Tree and have them delivered in under an hour, on average
DoorDash research shows how meaningful grocery delivery can be for SNAP households: In a 2025surveyof consumers who recently used SNAP/EBT on DoorDash, 71% reported that using SNAP/EBT for grocery delivery helps ensure they have groceries that last the entire month
DoorDash continues to expand payment options and selection to give consumers more flexibility and value, however they choose to shop. The addition of SNAP/EBT payment capabilities at Dollar Tree extends DoorDash’s growing network of grocers, value retailers and convenience stores that accept SNAP/EBT. More than 4.5 million consumers have added their SNAP card to DoorDash, and the platform now includes more than 57,000 stores that accept SNAP/EBT payments
To order on-demand delivery of SNAP-eligible items from Dollar Tree, consumers can:
Go to Account > Payment > Program Cards to add a SNAP card. Tap “SNAP/EBT Card” and enter the EBT card number. EBT cards can also be added at checkout
Search for “Dollar Tree” in the DoorDash app, add SNAP-eligible items to cart and head to checkout
At checkout, the maximum SNAP-eligible subtotal will automatically be applied. Customers can adjust the amount by selecting “Apply SNAP Amount”
