Gold purchases by central banks around the world have accelerated, reinforcing the outlook for the sector and driving the advancement of projects in Latin America
In Brazil, the auction schedule in the highway segments and, especially, in the freight railway sector is expected to fall short of expectations this year
Meanwhile, in Mexico, the steel sector is facing a moment of uncertainty

– Global central banks have resumed accelerating gold purchases to rebuild their reserves, strengthening the outlook for new investments in metal-related projects in Latin America. Amid this scenario, BNamericas highlighted the main recent initiatives in the sector in the region. Read more here
