Anthropic’s Claude Fable 5 free offer extended till July 19: All you need to know

Anthropic has extended the Claude Fable 5 promotional offer once again. Previously scheduled to end on July 12, the company has now announced that the free access to Claude Fable 5 is now available till July 19, 2026. Additionally, the company said that during the promotional period, users can use up to 50% of weekly subscription limits on Claude Fable 5 at no extra cost. “We’ve extended this promotion through July 19, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM PT. The 50% increase to Claude Code weekly usage limits has also been extended through the same date,” the company said in a support document. The Claude Fable 5 free access is available on Pro, Max, Team, and premium seats on seat-based Enterprise plans.
How to access Claude Fable 5
You can access Claude Fable 5 on:
- Claude on the web
- Claude Mobile
- Claude Desktop
- Claude Cowork
- Claude Code
- Claude Design
- Claude for Microsoft 365
- Claude for Teams
- Claude Tag
In Claude on the web, Claude Desktop, and Claude Mobile, select “Fable 5” from the model picker. In Claude Code, Fable 5 requires version 2.1.170 or later. To use Fable 5 in Claude Cowork, you need to be on the latest version of Claude Desktop.
When you reach your Fable 5 weekly limit
Once you use up to 50% of your weekly limit on Fable 5, you can continue in one of two ways for the rest of the promotional period:
- Use usage credits to keep using Claude Fable 5. Usage credits let you pay for usage beyond what your plan includes, and they’re billed separately from your subscription.
- Switch to another Claude model to keep working within your remaining plan usage limits.
