Mounties near the Alberta-British Columbia boundary have issued an Amber Alert for a six-year-old boy

They say Lanakai Morrison was taken on Tuesday from the hamlet of Valhalla Centre, roughly 63 kilometres northwest of Grande Prairie
He was last seen in Fort St. John, B.C. on July 9 at approximately 9:30 a.m
They are believed to be traveling through Northern B.C. and possibly into the NWT or the Yukon
He is described as having a slight build with long, light-brown hair and brown eyes

Alberta RCMP said earlier on Thursday that Lanakai may be with his mother, 35-year-old Krista Morrison, and her 35-year-old partner Daniel Ludwig

Morrison is described as 35 years old and 173 centimetres (68 inches) tall with a medium build, long, dark brown hair and brown eyes

Ludwig is 35-years-old and 180 centimetres (71 inches) tall with a large build, brown hair and brown eyes. The B.C. Amber Alert stated that Ludwig is bald

RCMP say another child, four-year-old Karl Morrison, may also be travelling with them
Late Thursday afternoon, investigators provided an update on the vehicle that they believe the may be travelling in
It is now described as a 2006 red Ford F350 pickup truck with Alberta license plate number CXW8820
