Calif. –Seven champions were crowned in the Senior division Saturday at the 2026 U.S. Beach Nationals in Huntington Beach, Calif. Two-time U.S. Beach Nationals Senior champion Tyson Beauperthuy returned to beach competition and captured gold, headlining four Senior Men’s title winners. Alyssa Jacksonsecured a gold medal with two shutouts in her best-of-three finals series, leading a list of three champions in the Senior Women’s division
Beauperthuy upended Owen Uppinghouse in the best-of-three finals, starting with a narrow 3-2 win in round one. He then blanked Uppinghouse 3-0 in round two, securing his first title at a USA Beach Wrestling event since 2023
David Aranda cruised to the title in the Senior Over 90 kg weight class, sweeping Mason Garcia with two shutouts. He opened with a fall in round one and sealed the gold medal with a 3-0 decision in round two
Conrad Rangell claimed gold over Carlos Monteon Jr. in the Senior Men’s 69.2 kg – 69.4 kg division. Wayne Lamont won gold in the 74.2 kg – 80 kg bracket, finishing his day with consecutive wins over Noah Perdue in the finals
In addition to Jackson’s dominant sweep in the finals of the 53.8 kg – 59.96 kg bracket, the Senior Women’s division crowned two more champions—Anastasia Hardin and Monique Turpin. Hardin gave up one point in each of her final two matches but earned two falls en route to her gold medal. Turpin also scored falls in each of her championship rounds to claim the 77 kg – 88.2 kg title
