CHELAN — The Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation has elected its 2026 executive board, naming Cindy Aston as secretary
The foundation’s 2026 executive officers are President Phyllis Gleasman, Vice President Linda Parker, Treasurer Dale Hoisington and Secretary Cindy Aston
Vita Monteleone, director of community relations for the Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation, said the board is pleased to welcome Aston to its executive leadership team
“We are very happy to be including Cindy to our executive board,” Monteleone said. “She has been a member of the board for several years and her father, Emmitt Aston was a long-time board member.”
Aston has served on the Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation board for several years and joins the executive board after a long history of community involvement in the Lake Chelan Valley. A lifelong valley resident, she has served on the Chelan City Council, the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce, Valley Pride and the Lake Chelan Arts & Crafts Fair, among other local organizations. She also spent 30 years involved with the local 4-H program and works as a certified medical assistant in family medicine and dermatology.
The Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation’s mission is to enhance health care in the Lake Chelan Valley by funding medical equipment, supporting health care education and advancing wellness programs that improve community well-being
The foundation’s goals include increasing its brand visibility, cultivating awareness of its mission and vision, and strengthening donor partnerships. Its stated values are community, education, health care and wellness, and integrity
According to the foundation, its vision is “a healthier Lake Chelan Valley where every individual benefits from advanced medical re programs.”
