Kentucky’s lone commitment in the Class of 2027, Ryan Hampton, is expected to make a major announcement this morning
The announcement is expected to come this morning at 10 a.m. CT on NBC5 out of Dallas

While there was speculation a couple months ago that Hampton could ultimately decide to reclassify into the Class of 2026 and join Kentucky for this upcoming season, I wouldn’t expect that is what this announcement is about. It seems Hampton will stay in the 2027 class
Instead, there has been some chatter that Hampton will be switching high schools for his final season. Hampton played this past season at DME Academy in Daytona Beach, Florida, but there has been speculation he could play elsewhere in his final season
