Healthy aging appeared across both ingredient and finished product awards. Microbiome innovation continued to expand beyond traditional probiotics. Beauty-from-within remained one of the industry’s busiest areas of development, while newer categories such as women’s health and weight management reflected a market becoming increasingly specialized
The gallery above captures the companies and individuals recognized during the 2026 NutraIngredients USA Awards ceremony
Rather than being confined to a single category, some of nutrition’s biggest growth areas appeared repeatedly throughout this year’s awards
Timeline received Ingredient of the Year: Healthspan for Mitopure, while dsm-firmenich earned Product of the Year: Healthspan for Spring Valley Maximum Care Omega-3 from Algal Oil with Vitamin D3, displaying how healthy aging continues to power innovation from ingredient development through finished products
A similar pattern developed in microbiome science. South Korea’s hy Co. received Ingredient of the Year: Microbiome Modulation for FatSlim, while Designs for Health claimed the corresponding product award for Anaerostipes Probiotic
Beauty-from-within also spanned both categories, with hy recognized for SkinCare and Elysium Health receiving the product award for Mosaic
Other winners reflected how nutrition products continue to evolve toward increasingly specific consumer needs
Levagen+ from Saanroo received the Innovation in Women’s Health Award, while Gundry MD’s Daily Weight Advantage earned Product of the Year: Weight Management
Sports nutrition honors went to WeCare Probiotics for Weizmannia coagulans BC99 and Health Currancy UK for CurraNZ Original New Zealand Blackcurrant Extract. Phynova Group’s Reducose and ThreoTech’s Magtein rounded out the ingredient categories with wins in Botanical and Mind and Mood, respectively
Not every award recognized something consumers can purchase
Phynova Group also received the Nutrition Research Project award for its Reducose Research Project, recognizing the role research still continues to play in product innovation
Elsewhere, Canomiks earned the editor-selected Editors’ Award for Industry Initiative of the Year for WhatToTrust, Resbiotic was named Start-Up Award winner, and Jim Emme received the NutraChampion honor
Taken together, the winners showed an industry advancing on multiple fronts, from ingredient science and finished products to research, transparency and leadership
