Three men were found dead inside a Hollywood Hills apartment during a welfare check on Tuesday night
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the 1900 block of Wilcox Avenue to conduct a welfare check on an apartment unit at 11:30 p.m., and upon entering the unit, they found three men suffering from gunshot wounds
LAPD Robbery-Homicide Unit detectives were on scene much of Wednesday as they began investigating the incident, and told CBS LA that no weapon has been located.
Neighbors say that they heard gunshots over the weekend, but didn’t think anything of it. When they woke up on Wednesday, they found a swarm of police officers outside their homes
“I came outside, right? And I saw an officer there, and I was just like, ‘What happened?’ and he was like, ‘There’s a triple homicide,'” said one resident, who wished to remain anonymous.
Another neighbor said that things seemed strange in recent days, and that their normally noisy apartment and dog were completely silent.
The LAPD has no suspect information at this time and detectives said that they’ll be searching for security camera video from inside and outside the complex, as well as from nearby businesses.
Police have not yet publicly identified any of the victims
