The 2026 Daytime Emmy Awards nominations have been revealed
The Young and the Restless leads this year’s nominees with 18 nods, including for best daytime drama series, followed by fellow daytime drama series nominees Beyond the Gates with 16 nods and General Hospitalwith 13 nods. The final daytime drama series nominee is Days of our Lives, which has a total of eight nominations this year
“We’re proud to honor the extraordinary talent and creative teams whose work continues to define and elevate daytime television,” said Adam Sharp, president and CEO of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which presents the Daytime Emmys. “As the daytime landscape evolves and new forms of storytelling emerge, we remain committed to recognizing the innovation happening across the industry.”
Daytime Emmy Awards head Rachel Schwartz added, “Each year, the Daytime Emmy Awards celebrate the creativity, passion and dedication that drive this vibrant community of storytellers. Congratulations to this year’s nominees, whose work continues to entertain, inspire and connect with audiences every day. We look forward to celebrating their remarkable achievements in Hollywood this October.”
In addition, The Hollywood Reporter is among this year’s Daytime Emmy nominees, landing a nod for best arts and popular culture program for THR’s Off Script roundtable series, the third consecutive nomination for the awards-season showcase, which has received a total of six Daytime Emmy Awards nominations since 2017
The 53rd Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony is set to take place on Friday, Oct. 30 at the Hollywood Palladium
