Kelly Osbourne says she’s learning the importance of “taking a break,” sharing that she feels “reborn.”
“I’m really learning how important it is to step away from the madness sometimes. 🌊☀️,” the reality TV alum, 41, shared in the caption of an Instagram carousel of photos from a recent vacation with friends and her son, Sidney, 3, posted on Monday, Aug. 17

Her post comes amid reports that she’s ended her engagement with Sidney’s father, Slipknot’s Sid Wilson, and a public dispute with Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, who commented on the songwriting contributions of her late father, Ozzy Osbourne

“I get so wrapped up in life, work, people, plans… everything going on around me, that I genuinely forget I’m allowed to stop. To switch off. To breathe. To just be,” Kelly wrote in the caption for the photos, which included selfies of herself in a leopard-print bathing suit, as well as shots of her and Sidney in a pool with friends.
“This holiday has reminded me that taking a break isn’t wasting time — sometimes it’s exactly <a href="https://todaytrendnews7.com/what-a-record-breaking-el-nino-could-mean-for-the-world/” title=”What a record-breaking El Nino could mean for the world”>what you need to come back to yourself,” she continued. “I honestly feel reborn. Lighter, calmer, happier… and very much NOT ready to go home 😂❤️”
“Note to self: do this more often,” she ended her post. “Life will still be there when you get back. ✨”

Her candid post comes a year after the death of her father, which she said “aches every single day.”
“The hardest part isn’t that you’re gone,” Kelly wrote in an emotional July 22 tribute to the late Black Sabbath frontman on the anniversary of his death from a heart attack. “The hardest part is that I can’t touch you. I can’t hold your hand. I can’t wrap my arms around you or feel the safety that only you could give me.”
She added, “I always thought life was hard, but life without you has been the hardest thing I have ever had to endure. You are my everything. My protector. My greatest teacher. My best friend. The apple of my eye. My reason.”
Kelly went on to share that “I have never loved anyone or anything as deeply as uniquely as I love you. And now I carry all of that love with nowhere to place it except within me, my son, and mumma,” referring to Sidney and her mom, Sharon Osbourne. “It aches every single day, but it is also the greatest privilege of my life. To have loved someone so completely.”

She concluded her letter by sharing that she’s felt “broken” in many ways over the past year
“Everything you warned me would happen, happened. But I want you to know that I listened,” she wrote. “I did everything you told me to do, and I will continue to follow your words for the rest of my life. Your voice still guides me every day.”
