Aquatic engineering company Myrtha Wellness has developed a modular stainless steel sauna structure, called Myrtha Stainless Steel Sauna, to increase the life cycle of the thermal facility compared to traditional wooden saunas that often require complete replacement

Myrtha Wellness is providing a 25-year warranty for the steel structure, which can be adapted for various sauna categories, including:

• Finnish saunas
• Bio saunas
• Soft saunas
• Event saunas
• Panorama saunas
• Outdoor saunas
• Bespoke saunas

The interior timber finishes can be renewed or replaced, without modifying the structural frame, which the company describes as a low-cost solution that reduces long-term maintenance and refurbishment costs

The company also says the steel system allows the integration of high-performance insulation materials that are superior to those possible in conventional all-wood saunas. The benefits include higher energy efficiency, lower heat loss, accelerated heating and reduced energy consumption

Myrtha Wellness can also engineer the new structure to be seismic-resistant for operations in markets prone to earthquakes
